ADELA
The Tanzania Adela is grown on the slopes of Mount Kilamanjaro from selected estates within the Kilamanjaro and Arusha regions. Adela is a brand name that has been used for close to fifty years in Tanzania. This brand of estate quality is grown at an altitude between 4,600 to 5,600 ft.

As not all estates in these regions produce the Adela quality, production of the top grades is limited to approximately 6,000 bags per season. The appearance of the Adela is a deep blue-green of either pure Bourbon or Kent variety. As a roasted product, this cup has a medium body, pleasant bright acidity with distinct citrus flavor notes: grapefruit, currant, blackberry. In our opinion, the quality of the Adela coffee rivals the best that neighboring Kenya has to offer.
