SHB Costa Rica Holland Especial
Over the past decade or so
Costa Rican coffee has emerged as the gem of Central
America. With
increased pressure on coffee growing regions coming from nearby urban sprawl,
top notch coffee from Costa
Rica has become all the more precious and
this, in turn, can make it difficult to maintain a consistent cup in even the
most prized beans. Thus, in the
name of top quality and unshakable consistency we bring you Holland
Especial. This coffee is a
very special blend of beans from the Tarrazu, Tres Rios, Heredia, and Naranjo regions.
By blending these beans at origin we can target a taste profile
without variation from year to year.
The cup is one of fine acidity, smooth body, and a sweet yet subtle
spicy profile that can be used for a blend component just as easily as it can
is served as a straight varietal.
